This Valentine’s Day, join us at Groundhog Social for a romantic evening designed to impress. We’ve curated a special four-course tasting experience that celebrates the very best of our local producers and the heart of our kitchen.

From the moment you arrive and enjoy a glass of Champagne, we invite you to settle in, enjoy the bayside breeze, and savour a menu crafted with passion.

The Valentine’s Tasting Menu

First Course: Artisan Bread Selection Your evening begins with a selection of house-baked artisan breads, served warm with chef-curated accompaniments.

Second Course: Choice of Entree

• Ocean Tasting: Featuring immaculately fresh natural oysters and chilled prawns. We source our seafood in small, frequent batches throughout the week to ensure that what arrives on your plate is as fresh as the morning catch.
• Whipped Feta & Beetroot: Silky whipped feta paired with slow-roasted heirloom beetroot and candied walnuts for an elegant balance of flavour and texture.

Third Course: Choice of Main

• Beef Fillet: Premium beef fillet, perfectly cooked and served with a crisp potato galette, seasonal vegetables, and a masterfully clear and savoury truffle-infused consommé that highlights the deep, natural flavours of the beef.
• Wild Mushroom Risotto: Luxuriously creamy and layered with aged Parmesan and a light Parmesan espuma. We are especially proud of this dish as it features wild mushrooms from Ruby Creek, local growers in Wellington Point who are just as passionate about quality as we are.

Fourth Course: A Grand Finale

• Swans in Love: A romantic finale of delicate Chantilly cream swans resting in a vibrant strawberry coulis.
• Artisan Cheese Selection: A carefully curated selection of fine cheeses, served with classic accompaniments.
